Koh Kood or Ko Kut

You may in fact find this confusing, but in fact it is one and the same place. Some chose to spell it Ko Kut and others Koh Kood. So when you are looking for maps, directions, timetables etc, be aware that Ko Kut and Koh Kood is in fact the same place, the place you are looking for.

Away Koh Kood Resort

Covering 16 Rai (6.5 acres) of tropical terrain on Klong Chao Bay, Away Koh Kood is located on the west coast of Koh Kood (Ko Kut), which is 82 kilometers off the coast of mainland Trat Province in the Gulf of Thailand. By comfortable road journey on some world class motorways and road systems, Trat can be reached within 4 hours from Bangkok. From Trat main city it is just a short hop to Dan Khao or Laem Sork Pier for boat transfer to Koh Kood.

Transportation (From Bangkok to Ko Kut)

By Air Plane

Operated by Bangkok Airways, there are two daily flights to Trat from Bangkok leaving at 8:30a.m., and at 4:50p.m. The flight takes about 1 hour. There are also two daily flights to Bangkok from Trat leaving at 10:00a.m. and 6:20p.m.

Trat Airport is located about 30 Kilometers from Laem Ngob Pier and Dan Khao Pier, and about 60 kilometers Laem Sork Pier.

By Bus

Public buses leave for Trat from the Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekamai) and Northern Bus Terminal (Mor Chit), taking around 5 hours. As of November 1st 2013 a new bus and boat service between Bangkok and Koh Kood (Ko Kut) had launched. By Limousine

Away Koh Kood Resort can provide guests an exclusive limousine service from all airports in Bangkok, directly to the shuttle point piers in Trat. The costs for the limousine service is Baht 4,600 per Sedan (3 passengers) or Baht 5,000 per van (5 passengers). Please confirm the transport preference at time of booking.

By Car

Taking the Motorway (Highway 7) that is a continuation of Rama IX. This road goes onwards and meets highway 344. Follow this road past Banbung and when you reach The Klaeng Crossroads turn left onto highway 3 and continue on toward Trat.
